I am a nature and animal loving optimist at heart. I love to be outdoors, whether at the beach or in the mountains.
My dog Scarlett is never far from my side and as my therapy dog she truly is hardly ever not by my side.
Another animal counterpart of mine is my 3 year old Nokota horse, Tate Naji (pronounced Ta-Tay Na Gey [soft G]), lovingly referred to as Tate. He brings me endless happiness and laughter and he is always my reminder of the importance and healing benefits of being “present”. My hope is for him to become a therapy horse and offer the healing benefits of presence and mindfulness to those faced with cancer (caretakers included)!
And last but definitely not least is my cat, Alexander, who is the most loving and kind being. He will sit atop my lap daily and just purr. And that purr brings such peace and calm (Psst…the benefits of his purr is where the unique spelling of Whispur came in my business name).
I believe we all have a purpose of service to gift to the world. And mine was awakened with the diagnosis of cancer in 2018. I carry light and love with me everywhere I go and my mission is to share it with the world.
